I originally had wanted to purchase another Garmin model on closeout, however it was no longer available which turned out to be a plus, since on examination of this latest series of Garmin Navigators, the new units had lane change notification and traffic alert that didn’t require a subscription, thereby although initial cost was a little more it actually is less costly to operate with more features. Amazon.com offered competetive pricing and I would’nt hesitate to recommend purchase from them!
